Hey I'm 2D.
My nickname Adam Taylor
My real name Ilya Stalmakov (from Russia)
I'am make cool 2D animation. What mean cool. I'll be talking it for you.
Let we taking some example for it.
A quick note for non-professionals. Any style should emphasize the atmosphere as accurately as possible. In this case, we are talking about a business atmosphere.
We see the following mistakes.
1 – The tie is very thin
2 - The detail is very low
3 – Sometimes there is a mixture of styles. ( So, in one frame we can see characters with eyes in the form of dots and normal eyes. There are no logical reason for this approach)– The last character has no socks, it violates the ethics of business style.
Looking not bad, but I think is very primitive and template. I'll have showed different for you.

When I learning English, I had did some gifts for my an American and British friends.
Because they kinds and helping me with my portfolio. It is not hard for me. I am not lazy. But I can't to say it about some my countryman. Sadness.
I don't take money for some «branded style». Moreover, I believe that every client is unique and needs his or her own style. When we do what's considered branded - we don't pay proper attention to the client's individuality.
Yes, different styles have different costs. But for me there is no concept of «brand style». There is a concept of «difficulty of drawing» and «detail». I take money for the process of work. I make the style that the client already has at the moment
or develop it myself, given the wishes of the client. How does it work?
The client sends me pictures of what he approximately wants to get. I make sketches.
Client quote:
«Give so: giraffe - E2, F1; lion - M3 (after all, he is the king of animals and should look accordingly); fox - J2, n1; monkey - G2, H2; elephant - C1, D2, turtle - А4, B1. As for colors, let all the colors match the color of the animal as much as possible, it will look simple and natural - which is what I appreciate in everything. That's why I trust your taste.»
When all is good – we move on.

Next - I developed a storyboard. I won't show you all the frames, but here's an example.

We showed the storyboard to the client and are waiting for his reaction to be sure all is well.
«My mother and I did not even discuss and with a mutual agreement decided that your work should be evaluated deserved, and this is not even 2, but 10 times more than the first cost».
We got a positive answer and move on:
«Note, by the way, they still paid me twice as much at the end of the job, even though I had not even asked them to do so».
Then, some time later, I sent a rendered scene.
I got the following reaction.
«But it's very expressive..!»
And so, step by step, I did my work.

After the work was completely finished, the client wrote me the following.
«That's just great. Thank you. You shouldn't bother with rendering so much. Because then there would be too many questions from the commission, just like me. And you know where this will end up. You have too high a level of responsibility and requirements for yourself»
After this work, the client added me as a friend. And my work is still remembered today.
If I had done this work in my personal style, I would not have been able to satisfy the client's needs. And then I would hardly be thanked. I would have just been told a small thank you, paid the amount promised instead of double the amount, and we would have just parted ways. Therefore, I use my 5 years of experience not to do what I can, but to adapt my skills to the wishes of the client. For me, his individuality is more important than my personal style..
